My week #5

Even though I'm still ill I thought I'd better do my weekly week picture post; just so then I don't feel like I've cheated myself out of a week update to look back on in the future!

This week was two of my closest friends 18th birthdays! The first two pictures were taken when we went out onto Blackpool prom/town centre to celebrate for Lauren's 18th on Thursday night. We headed for food on the prom and then had ice cream despite the weather! We spent the evening wandering the prom, laughing a hell of a lot! The night was so much fun! So Happy 18th Lauren!

Then friday night was Shanice's 18th birthday and she'd been planning a fancy dress party for the past year! It was such a good night and everyone looked amazing! The rest of the photos are from Friday night; as you may be able to tell I opted for a St. Trinians inspired costume. Everyone, and the birthday girl especially, all looked amazing and an amazing night was had by all I reckon! So Happy 18th Shanice!

I'm ill again and have college and some looking after duties to do this week so I don't really see much coming out of this week, how rubbish! I hope everyone had a good week and enjoys the next one!

Thanks for reading...if you did!

A little ramble...

For the second time in just over 2 weeks I'm ill. With going back to college and returning to a lack of sleep(both due to college and my recently unusually busy social life) my bodies clearly been run down. Don't get me wrong these past few weeks have been so much fun with a trip to London, McFly concert, partying and 18th birthdays! But I just wish it wasn't so easy for me to get ill when I've got so much to do!

I'll be honest, I'm writing this post instead of uploading pictures for my week in pictures post, which is lazy of me, especially considering I've got some good pictures this week! I just lack motivation to do certain things when I'm ill, and staring at a computer screen editing pictures and putting them together is not something I feel like doing today. I'd rather just type a load of random things for a change.

I'm currently snowed under with work and stressed to the max with being ill, stuff going on and University applications. Being ill isn't really helping with my stress levels. Oh and the nerves for my driving test have already kicked in, which is brilliant considering I've got just under a month to go, grrrr.

But HEY, I'm nearly 18; in exactly 3 weeks to be precise! Which I'm quite looking forward to! I've also got quite a few ideas for my blog aswell, which is unusual for me, but exciting all the same!So we'll see how they pan out!

I need to sleep, sorry about my rambling and I'm sorry if you actually read all of this...Thank you though!(its still weird to me to think people do read the things I post!)

New beauty things

As one of those girls who doesn't wear make up much, I also don't tend to buy a lot of it either, and if I do then its normally all at once. A week or so ago I purchased these four beauties. All four as it happens were on my recent 'Beauty wishlist' so I was very happy to make these purchases!

After hearing so much about them all, and returning to a good old favourite I thought I'd treat myself! And so far I'm loving them all!

MUA, Pro-base fixing mist- Living in England where its always windy, cold and raining its been great to try it(before our real winter arrives and I'm left with running make-up everyday!) and it honestly does work. I only wear powder normally but its been so good at keeping it in place when I do wear make up. I've never really counted or noticed exactly how long it holds it in place but its definitely still in place by the end of a college day!

Rimmel London, Stay Matte, Shade 003- I used to wear this a few years ago and rebuying it has been such a good idea of mine! I've fallen back in love with it!

H&M make-up brushes- The two brushes together only cost me around £8 and they are pretty good brushes! They give really even application and don't malt, which is always a plus!

There you are, my mini beauty haul, type spending spree! Thanks for reading!

My week #4

So much for Sunday blog posts. oops, but this weekend was pretttty busy and I was so tired yesterday!!

Yet again all my photos are from the weekend, rather than the week (I think that sums up college to be honest; boring and unphoto worthy.) This weekend was a weekend which I'd been looking forward to for MONTHS; McFly's 10th anniversary show at The Royal Albert Hall, London!! As a massive McFly from, for the past ten years, I was incredibly excited!

Me and 4 of my closest friends made the 5 hour trip down to London just for the gig and lets just say, before I end up writing a million word rant about the gig, was perfect! Defiantly one of the greatest nights of my life! Not only did I get to see my favourite band with some of my favourite people, but I also got to witness a Busted reunion on stage with 2/3 playing on stage with McFly! And call me soft but quite a few tears were shed!

When then made the car journey back up North and ended up crawling into bed for around 5 hours before getting up, ready for the day and work; safe to say I was knackered yesterday. But it was alllll worth it!

Basically that has been my whole week; just one big excitement for the concert! This week is extra busy too; with two 18th birthdays, fancy dress party, some other celebrations and college!
I hope everyone had a good week last week and I hope this week is just as good; if not better!
Thanks for reading!

My week #3

This weeks little week update is pretty short and all the pictures are from the same night; oops! I've had a super busy week and I've been ill for the most of it so I didn't really take many pictures!

The pictures which I did take this week were all at a close friends 18th birthday celebrations! The top right picture is with the birthday girl and it was a fab evening with some of my close friends and new friends; even if a little bit too much was drank! The two pictures on the right are my two favourite pictures from the night and the left is the little outfit which I threw together pretty much an hour before the party, haha I always leave things till last minute!

I hope everyone had a good week! Thanks for reading!

My week #2

So as expected college got in the way this week. I didn't even do a full week(only three days) and I still had no time! I have however got my timetable but I'm still going to stick to these weekly picture posts until I know exactly how much work I have to do and I know when I have time to blog; plus I'm slightly low on blog ideas too!

This week was mainly based in college, doing awkward ice breakers, team building exercises and UCAS. Nothing really interesting happened! Although on my two days off this week I headed shopping with some friends, which was very successful and had a cute spontaneous walk/drive through Blackpool Illuminations. As someone who's grown up in Blackpool I'm still confused about the whole 'lets holiday in/visit Blackpool' thing; it's rather rubbish.

Yeah so my whole week was basically college and work; my to do list just sums up how much I had to do really. Of course though, I ate very well during the week; even if it was slightly unhealthy.

I hope everyone had a nice week! This next week should be pretty fun with it being 2 of my closest friends 18th's (The first two of 5 18th's I have this month!!) I'm quite excited! But it is my first full week back at college and on lessoned timetables for 8 weeks, so I can already tell I'm going to be knackered.

What's in my bag

I've seen a few bloggers and YouTubers do this and I thought I'd give it ago! I'm one of those people who carries a bag full of rubbish because they're too lazy to empty it. But I emptied it of the majority of rubbish, like wrappers and things and kept the best bits in there; it's a great excuse to empty your bag this post!

I'm not one of those people who really buys a new bag for each outfit so I either have my college bag with me or this one, they are pretty similar but obviously have slightly differnt things in. This bag is my absolute favourite, I've had it for years, its from New Look and if I remeber correctly I payed about £20 for it! I love it; it's got pockets and is a brilliant size(it holds alot more stuff than it looks like it could...like a Mary Poppins bag!)

I always have my umbrella in my bag, whcich was about £5 from Tesco or somewhere like that, especially since I live in England. With the recent sunny weather I've also been carrying a pair of primark sunglasses and some sun-cream. I usually leave my headphones in my bag, and of course no bag is complete without a stray pencil and set of cinema tickets.

I'm quite practical so I always have a stash of baby wipes in my bag somewhere, these are quite cheap ones which come in a pack of about 5, they're brilliant for travelling. My keys are always in my bag to; and my key rings are possibly one of favourite things I own. My Harry Judd key ring was a Christmas present from a close friend, the scouby thing was made by a close friend too and then the pink Eifel tower was a classic tourist gift to myself when in Paris earlier this year. The piece of paper is my results slip from AS year at sixth form; I took these pictures just after results and enrollment at college.

The last few items in my bag are just general items and some make up things. I carry my purse with me, which is from Primark a few months ago. A compact mirror which was a present from a close friend is always in my bag. If I'm going out for the whole day I'll always put my clinique stay matte powder(my favourite and currently most used), Maybelline New York Falsies Volum' express mascara and The Body Shop Born Lippy lip balm in my bag as a just in case security net. I carry Nivea beautiful underarms, roll on deodorant with me too(I think that's what its called; I only noticed that its facing the wrong way whilst I was writing this post!). With the recent hot weather, my constant headaches and with being prone to dehydration I also carry a bottle of water with me to!

And that's my bag! I hope you enjoyed, thanks for reading!

What's in my make-up bag- Travel

In the past few weeks I've spent quite a few nights away from home, which means I've had to do a lot of light packing for travelling! So I thought I'd do a whats in my travel make-up bag; like my whats in my make up bag post last week.

I always pack my make up and beauty stuff in my little Primark make-up bag which I got as a gift a few weeks. Although it looks really small its actually a really handy size! When I travel and am away from home I tend not to use all the make up or beauty products I would at home. I've been taking John Freida, Luxurious volume shampoo with me everywhere recently; I want to get rid of it because its not the best thing I've ever bought but it was a little on the expensive side so I want to use it! I always take Colgate toothpaste with me, a selection of bobbles and the obligatory hair pin and of course plasters! Last minute I always drop my two favourite mascaras, Maybelline New York, The Colossal Volum' Express and The Falsies Volume Express!

I also pack my blusher brush, Clinique Stay Matte powder, blusher and Collection 2000 lipstick because you never know when you might need a full face of make up! Plus I have more time when I'm away so I more than likely will put the effort in and put some make-up on!

I'm a massive fan of 'minis' and I always take these two with me, especially these past few weeks; Lush Snow Fairy shower gel and Soap and Glory The Righteous butter, body moisturizer. The both smell AMAZING!

Thanks for reading!

My week

Hey! So, I thought I'd share my week with you! It was pretty busyyyy!

I had a few days at home at the beginning of the week so I had time to sit and do my nails(middle picture) which are just stick ons with gel varnish over the tops and enjoy the walks near my house(right middle picture) with my dog.  I spent Tuesday with my friends at home watching a film and chatting all day, the lazy days are always my favourite!

Then the week got busy busy busy! Me and mum went off on another roadtrip; the third of the summer! We headed for Yorkshire; to visit Leeds and then York! We did quite a bit of shopping(middle top picture), eating and drinking of yummy things(top right and bottom middle picture). Of course we HAD to get skittles milkshakes whilst in York! We then headed for the Shambles, which is the cutest little place to shop(bottom left picture). Whilst in York we also went to see the university, which is a definite choice of mine for next year!

Saturday was a work day and after I'd finished my shift I spent the evening with my family, which is always one of the best times of the week! Then the last day of the week and of my summer( boo :-( ) was spent in the Lake District with my mum and dad(Top left picture)!

It's been a fab summer and I wish I'd started doing this at the beginning of the summer, damn you always coming up with good ideas too late Hannah! Anyway its back to college tomorrow! I'm going to do these every week, hopefully; I quite enjoyed doing this and sharing my week with everyone!

Thanks for reading, hope every did have/has a lovely week!
